Precision CNC Parts — JC-CN series

Milled, turned and ground parts from 1 to 5,000 pieces, held to ±0.005 mm where the drawing allows — with the inspection report in the box.

JC-CN parts are cut directly from metal or engineering plastic, so there is no tool cost and no minimum order. The series covers three-axis milling for straightforward geometry, five-axis work for angled features and undercuts, turning for round parts, and grinding where flatness or surface finish decides function.

What drives the price of a machined part

Cost drivers, largest first
DriverWhy it moves the priceHow to reduce it
Setups and fixturingEvery extra setup is programming and handling timeDesign for machining from fewer faces; allow a soft-jaw grip area
Tolerance stackTight tolerances need slower passes and full inspectionTighten only the features that function; leave the rest at ISO 2768-m
MaterialStainless, titanium and PEEK cost several times more than aluminiumSpecify the cheapest grade that meets the environment
Surface finishRa below 0.8 needs extra passes, sometimes grindingFinish only the cosmetic and sealing surfaces
Batch sizeSetup amortises over quantity, but long runs add inspection loadOrder in batches matched to your consumption rate

If a drawing asks for a tolerance that the geometry cannot hold, we say so in the DFM note before quoting, instead of quoting a price we cannot deliver.

CNC part FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for machined parts?

One part. There is no tool cost on a machined route, so a single prototype and a 5,000-part batch are both normal orders for us.

Do you inspect every part or sample?

Critical features are measured on the first article and then sampled at a fixed interval per operation, with the frequency written into the inspection plan. For medical and automotive work the plan can specify 100 % inspection of stated features, quoted as a separate line.

Can you work from a sample instead of a drawing?

Yes. We reverse-engineer the part, send you a model for approval, then machine to that model. Tolerance on a reverse-engineered part is limited by how well the original can be measured, and we state that limit in writing.

Do you offer assembly and kitting?

Yes. We can machine the parts, add purchased components, assemble and ship as a kit with a single part number, which removes a supplier from your inbound chain.

Send a drawing, get a feasibility note and a price

We reply within one business day, including where we think the tolerance is unreachable.
