Tools and parts, catalogued by what they solve
Three product families, each with stated tool life, tolerance and lead time. Pick the family, compare the rows, then send your drawing.
Injection Molds
A steel tool that produces plastic parts in a press, built for runs from 100k to 1M+ shots.
| SKU | Tool type | Cavities | Tool life | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JC-IM-2P | 2-plate, cold runner | 1–8 | 300k–500k shots | 25–32 days |
| JC-IM-3P | 3-plate, pin-point gate | 4–32 | 500k shots | 30–38 days |
| JC-IM-HR | Hot runner, valve gate | 8–64 | 500k–1M shots | 35–45 days |
| JC-IM-UN | Unscrewing, threaded parts | 2–16 | 400k shots | 38–48 days |
- P20, 718H, S136, H13 steel with mill certificate
- SPI A1–C3 polishing, EDM texture
- Tool tolerance ±0.01 mm on critical windows
- Max mold 1,200 × 900 × 900 mm

Precision CNC Parts
Finished parts cut directly from billet, plate or bar, no tool cost and no minimum order.
| SKU | Process | Tolerance | Batch size | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JC-CN-M3 | 3-axis milling | ±0.05 mm | 5–2,000 | 5–8 days |
| JC-CN-M5 | 5-axis milling | ±0.005 mm | 1–1,000 | 7–12 days |
| JC-CN-T | CNC turning | ±0.01 mm | 10–5,000 | 5–10 days |
| JC-CN-G | Surface grinding | 0.01 mm flatness | 1–500 | 8–12 days |
- Aluminium, stainless, carbon steel, brass, POM, PEEK
- FAI report plus mill certificate on every batch
- Anodise, bead blast, passivation, heat treatment
- Max milling envelope 1,000 × 600 × 500 mm
See the full CNC part specification →
Prototype Tooling
An aluminium or soft-steel tool for real molded samples, without the cost or wait of production steel.
| SKU | Tool material | Shots | Tolerance | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JC-PT-AL | Aluminium 7075 | 200–1,000 | ±0.05 mm | 12–15 days |
| JC-PT-SS | Soft steel (P20, unhardened) | 1,000–5,000 | ±0.03 mm | 15–18 days |
| JC-PT-BR | Bridge tool, steel base + insert | 5,000–20,000 | ±0.02 mm | 20–26 days |
- Same part geometry as the eventual production tool
- T1 samples typically within 12–18 days of design freeze
- Tool cost 30–45 % of a hardened production tool
- Upgrade path to production steel using the same layout

How to order
- Send filesSame day
STEP or X_T model, 2D drawing, material, quantity and any tolerance or surface callout.
- Get a DFM note and price1 business day
We flag what will not mold or machine cleanly, then quote line by line with a dated lead time.
- Approve and pay depositDay 1–2
Order confirmation states the stage dates you will be measured against.
- Sample approvalBefore batch
First article or T1 samples with a measurement report, so you sign off on data rather than photos.
- Balance and shipPer schedule
Inspection pack, packing list and spare parts list in one file transfer.
Product questions
How do I choose between an injection mold and machined parts?
Count your annual volume first. Under roughly 5,000 parts a machined route is usually cheaper because there is no tool cost. Above that, the tool amortises and injection molding becomes the lower unit cost. If you need molded samples for validation before committing, prototype tooling sits in between.
What information do you need to quote a product?
A 3D model or 2D drawing, the material, the annual or batch quantity, and the tolerance or surface requirement. With those four we return a line-item price and a dated lead time within one business day.
Are prices on this page fixed?
No. The figures show the range each SKU falls in. Final price depends on part size, steel grade, cavity count and surface spec, and is always quoted per order.
Can you produce a sample before I commit to a production order?
Yes. Either a machined prototype from your 3D model or a prototype tool if you need real molded material behaviour. Both are quoted separately so you can compare.
